Youth

I wonder who I am
In the years to come.
I am so small;
I wonder if I’ll conquer them all.
I wonder if I’ll stand out
Among the youth in the crowd.
I want them to be proud;
I want to shout it loud.
I want to be noticed
But I don’t want them to get pest.
I want to share
But no one cares.
I want to show the world
That I have something to prove.
And I want them to know
That in me hopes overflows.
I am proud to say
That I have something to convey
That country’s future is in my hands
And I bear it in mind.
For I am a youth;
I am the country’s hope.
